ENVIRONMENT

COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABILITY

During 2023 we have become ISO 14001 certified, corroborating our commitment to sustainability and care for the environment. We are seeking to make the minimum environmental impact possible and we have made the commitment of the entire organization to achieve this objective.

We invest in more efficient machinery to achieve more sustainable energy consumption.

We have managed to reduce energy consumption by 50% in certain manufacturing lines through investments close to €500K.

Every year we invest in improvements to our production lines for purposes not only of productivity but also of increasing our sustainability.

INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PANELS IN OUR FACILITIES

As part of our efforts, we have recently implemented solar panels at our facilities. This investment in renewable energy is driven by our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and minimizing our impact on the environment. We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable future and believe that every effort counts towards achieving this goal.

Our operations and supply chains have a significant impact on the lives of many people around the world. We firmly believe in treating every individual associated with our business, whether directly employed by us, collaborating in our supply chains or being part of the communities in which we operate, with dignity and respect. We believe in real and effective equality for LGTBI people and we want to guarantee their rights.

We promote effective compliance with the rights to equal treatment and non-discrimination based on sexual orientation and identity, gender expression or sexual characteristics of LGTBI workers.

We have adopted specific measures in favor of women, trans people, as well as people from the LGTBI community, with the aim of correcting patent situations of inequality with respect to men.

We believe that our suppliers play a crucial role in helping us conduct our business with the highest standards of ethics, integrity and social responsibility. We are committed to working with suppliers who operate responsibly and share our dedication to environmental and sustainability standards.

Conducting this analysis across the supply chain is an important part of our overall sustainability efforts. We expect our key suppliers to acknowledge and sign the Flexicel Supplier Code of Conduct and complete an annual self-assessment questionnaire to verify their policies, commitment and initiatives.

We believe that compliance with this code of conduct is essential to building a responsible and sustainable supply chain that benefits all stakeholders. We are committed to working with our suppliers to ensure they meet the standards set out in this code of conduct and to continually improve our collective environmental, social and ethical performance.

COMPLAINTS CHANNEL

Flexicel provides a clear, accessible and confidential process for employees and other interested parties to raise concerns or report misconduct without fear of retaliation.

Our complaints mechanism is designed to ensure timely and fair resolution of complaints, promoting transparency and accountability. We encourage anyone who believes non-compliant behavior has occurred to come forward, safe in the knowledge that they will be protected from retaliation. Employees are encouraged to raise any issues with management, through the Compliance Channel or to report through the Flexicel Anonymous Complaints Channel at https://flexicel-s-l.factorialhr.es/complaints


This complaints mechanism is available to all internal and external stakeholders, with the aim that anyone can (anonymously) lodge a complaint or concern about any activity that is not in line with our policies and legal standards. Each notification through this channel will be treated with our investigative principles of humanity, confidentiality, proportionality and safeguarding of the matter raised.
